What is Plant Plast®?

Plant Plast® is a new material made from hemp shives, the woody core of the hemp stalk. This makes Plant Plast® a material category of its own: a plant-based design material that stays visible. Made for everyone who designs with natural materials: in architecture, interiors, furniture and product design. Not an insulation product, not a drywall board: a visible, tactile material for design.

Not plastic. No compromise.

The name is a deliberate contrast. Plant Plast is not a plastic or WPC material and not a binder-based building board, but a plant-based material. It ismade without glues or resins. Where many panels hide their origin behind décor foil, Plant Plast shows the natural structure of the hemp shives openly.
