I never wanted to simply take over. I wanted to create something.

Hello, I am Jeanne Beck, fifth generation of a family business in the plastics industry. I grew up with materials, production and entrepreneurship. Even so, what drove me was always to go my own way.

When our family business was hit by a fire in 2021, one thought would not let go of me:

It must be possible to develop a material that uses natural raw materials, works industrially and, as far as is technically possible, does without harmful substances and unnecessary additives.

Alongside my job I began to experiment. I put every free minute into new formulations. Since no laboratory press of our own was available to us, the first panels were made on a school's press, until Plant Plast^® finally came about.

Not out of a wish to replace existing materials, but out of the conviction that natural materials should be used where they are the right choice.

My vision

I would like to see a world of materials that decides more consciously: one that makes sensible use of regional resources, values the potential that already exists, and develops materials that bring design, function and responsibility together.

Every material has its place. I want to take new paths where natural materials are the right choice.
